  4. A piece of translucent material for the shade (e.g. vellum paper)

  5. Scissors

  6. Glue (e.g. hot glue)

  7. Tools such as pliers and wire cutters

Instructions:

  1. Bend the metal or wire into the desired shape for the lamp base.

  2. Attach the light bulb to the battery pack and glue the battery pack to the metal base.

  3. Cut the translucent material to the desired shape and size for the shade.

  4. Glue the shade to the top of the metal base, covering the light bulb.

  5. Let the glue dry completely.

  6. Test the lamp to ensure it is working properly.

  7. Decorate the lamp as desired with paint, stickers, or other materials.
