How To Make A Dollshouse Armchair
Gather materials: balsa wood, glue, paint, scissors, ruler, pencil, sandpaper, and a small cushion or fabric for upholstery.
Measure and cut the following pieces from balsa wood using a ruler and scissors:
Two pieces for the back of the chair (5 cm x 3 cm)
Two pieces for the seat (5 cm x 5 cm)
Four pieces for the legs (5 cm x 1 cm)
Two pieces for the armrests (3 cm x 1 cm)
Use sandpaper to smooth the edges and surfaces of the balsa wood pieces.
Glue the two back pieces together to create a thicker backrest.
Glue the four legs to the bottom of the seat, two on each side.
Attach the backrest to the seat by gluing the two pieces together at a right angle.
Glue the two armrests to the sides of the chair, on top of the front legs.
Allow the glue to dry completely before painting the chair in your desired color.
Once the paint has dried, add a small cushion or fabric to the seat for upholstery.
Your balsa wood dollhouse armchair is now complete and ready to be placed in your miniature home.
